Provide a solution to streamline the purchase of waste transportation subcontracting and standardise purchasing processes.

Challenge

The challenge was to render the workflow of an activity identified as critical, more reliable, while maximising savings.

Solution

In order to reach these objectives, the supplier list was downsized and framework contracts were implemented with all selected suppliers. The service providers were selected for 3-year contracts. Communication with internal customers and suppliers was also carried out by KLB Group’s teams.

RESULTS

  • Contracts with all selected service providers were established and implemented in accordance with the schedule established by General Management.
  • Downsizing the list of referenced suppliers: going from 300 to 80 service providers.
  • Savings of 5%.
