All compliance!
On October 16, 2024, KLB celebrates World Ethics Day. This celebration is part of KLB's ongoing efforts to strengthen its ethical practices and raise awareness of ethical issues among its internal and external stakeholders.
KLB's approach to ethics is structured by :
a Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics,
an internal whistle-blowing procedure,
an Ethics Committee,
a CSR Committee,
ongoing employee training in ethical issues
Code of conduct and professional ethics :
It supports all our requirements and commitments in terms of ethics and best practices within KLB. It applies to all employees, in France and abroad. Third parties must also comply when acting on behalf of KLB.
All KLB employees embody the core values of Trust, Proximity and Commitment, and the Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics provides them with the tools they need to answer any ethical questions they may encounter in the course of their duties.
This approach contributes to effectively combating conflicts of interest, meeting contractual commitments, respecting confidentiality and privacy, protecting assets, promoting diversity and inclusion, and preventing corruption and money laundering.
The Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics is supplemented by other policies (responsible purchasing, information security, personal data protection, confidentiality) and its implementation is monitored by the Ethics Referent, appointed by the Executive Committee and a member of the Ethics Committee, as well as the CSR Committee.
In line with KLB's ethical commitments, all managerial and commercial functions have received anti-corruption training from the world-renowned non-profit organization TRACE.
Internal alert procedure:
In order to strengthen its ethical approach and build relationships of trust with all stakeholders, KLB has strengthened its internal procedure for alert management.
KLB encourages its employees, as well as external stakeholders impacted by its activities, to report breaches of practices or actions which they consider to be in actual or potential breach of the law, the Code, internal rules, contractual obligations or other local regulations.
The Ethics Officer reports to the CSR Committee and the Executive Committee on the reports received and processed, while guaranteeing the strictest confidentiality and anonymity to the whistle-blower.
